WHO WE ARE

Adullam Foundation Kenya Is basically non-profit making  non-partisan, non-political Community Based Organization whose main objective is to undertake long term Christian, psychological  and HIV/AIDS Counseling prevention, management  / control, and poverty alleviation programmes for the rural based population in Naitiri location, Tongaren Divion , Bungoma North District, Western Province Kenya

It is registered under the ministry of Gender, sports, culture and social services Bungoma North with registration No. 973

OUR VISION

Has the noble mission of empowering local churches, groups through christian counseling evangelism and discipleship seminars programs and reducing the prevalence and spread of HIV/AIDS and alleviation of poverty among the infected and affected residents and the vulnerable groups.

To make  individuals to realize their God-given gifts and potential by way of improved quality life and access better education for their children in a safe environment

OUR MISSION

  1. To be a leading agent of change in the community by addressing spiritual, economical and social issues/needs to help people live a quality life in a safe environment.
  2. Promote Christian values and ethics in the community through  christian counseling
  3. To mobilize the target communities in strategic campaigns against:
  1. spread of HIV/AIDS. Sexually transmitted diseases and other major diseases(TB, Malaria) especially among the women and youths
  2. unsafe uses of water for drinking for domestic uses
  3. child abuse and neglected

Target groups: women groups, youth groups, special groups, churches

OUR MAJOR COMPONENT OBJECTIVES

Include the following:-

Community Empowerment program

  1. To make every resource available to eradicate poverty and be one of the agent to implement vision 2030
  2. To venture into the community and empower them spiritually, economically and socially.
  3. To help children access education.
  4. To start income generating activities and uplift their living standard.
  5. To improve health, nutrition and social skills to the disadvantaged and underprivileged groups.

Special groups youths

(Disabled, widows, HIV/AIDS)

Establish vocational training centre.

Churches

  1. Empower local churches with the word of God through  christian counseling in the following areas:-
  2. Pastoral counseling
  3. Church planting
  4. Biblical conflict management and reconciliation
  5. Youth and adolesence stage school outreach program ( The Big Difference between Boys/Girls.
  6. Free evangelism and  and discipleship tracts and bible distribution program in local churches

Gender Based Issues

  1. To establish a counseling centre by helping the distressed in the society
  2. Gender mainstreaming and gender concern and development
  3. To promote positive self-esteem in girls and women of all ages combat their distorted images.
  4. Intensive gender compaigns

Marketing

  1. Build a market link centre in the district centre to help farmers in marketing
  2. To create Job opportunities for our youths in the rural areas
