2013, May Newsletter

Dear friends. We are happy to present to you this great work that God in this month has done.  Adullam Foundation Kenya got an opportunity to held several counseling course seminars in Kanyosha estate within Bujumbura city in Burundi.   Pastors were drawn from various churches and denominations.

Our seminars programs culminated on 13/5/2013, where in the morning hours we visited Kinindo Secondary and Kibenga Primary School.  As young pupils, they were encouraged to serve God with honor and deligence, 2 Tim. 2:2-6, Phil. 1:6. At evening, we had a very wonderful and blessed seminars on peace making and conflict resolving in biblical perspective where pastors were given time to share and give views on how they can promote peace in the church and society  within there context.

On 14/5/2013, we continued as a team, we visited Kanyosha Municipal Secondary School. Word of encouragement came from Ps. 85:8, Heb, 13:5-8 by the Director. As young believers God will not forsake them.  From 3:00 Pm to 8:00 Pm, we held two seminars on how to Overcome Stress and dealing with  Rejection having reflection in the bible.

Pastors are not only called to preach the gospel, but be examplary in the community through working in there field to generate foods for there families.  We visited one of our co-work who start a small community development project on Onion growing situated on the hills and slopes of Bujumbura.  The project gathers youths  and pastors from Kanyosha estate to learn and set up same project as income generating activities. Join us in prayers as God transforms souls in Eastern Africa.
